One Day Chemical Munitions

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

Full Tac gear, all equipment, which should include their callout gear and gas masks, Gas Shotgun, Gas Gun 37 mm and hand held smoke and/ or chemical, they should have at least six rounds of chemical for each weapon or more and several hand helds of smoke or chemical, they will want to bring towels and maybe a change of clothes after the course is over, they will be contaminated.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed for the tactical operator who will be charged with the duties of gas or chemical delivery during all tactical operations.  The course encompasses the classroom lecture format which covers history and chemical types, usage, benefits, limitations, hazards and precautions, chemical and target computations for I.C. and L.C., deployment/delivery systems, methods and locations and decontamination concepts and procedures. 

Operators will spend the majority of the afternoon session on range using the various types of chemical and gas munitions available to their teams and the different delivery systems associated with those munitions.  Various barricades, openings and structures will be employed as simulated targets for course participants to practice and demonstrate the various munitions that they utilize.  Operators will learn to work in tandem with a tactical partner in deploying the various munitions available to them and the team that they support.  Operators who successfully complete this course will be Chemical Munitions trained and certified.
